Clipped Prediction is based on 'Clippo' of Joseph Kolar and is ideal for mentalism shows.
The magician shows a long, thin newspaper strip and moves his scissors up or down this strip to stop where the volunteer commands. After giving the spectator a free choice to the position, the strip of paper is cut at the chosen point. When the prediction is shown, it shows BOTH the top and bottom lines of the newspaper strip - the exact point where the strip was cut into two! Everything is examinable at the end.
Each box comes with 50 strips of paper, each of which allows for two distinct predictions (both sides are usable).
Three more sets of paper strips with different predictions are available, and can be bought separately.
PLEASE NOTE:
"Clippo" is the effect where a strip of paper is folded and cut with a scissor, but open out again.
This effect is linked to Albert Spackman's 'Clip Line' or 'Newspaper Prediction', based on which Al Mann and others developed variations. Notably, Roy Miller had released 'Miller Clipper'.
