With a black pen the performer draws the picture of a candle on a piece of paper. With a red pen he draws the flame on the candle. He then puts a small piece of paper into a metal clip that is tied to a string.  He holds the clip with the small piece of paper, dangling from the string and keeps it suspended over the picture of the candle. He then moves it near the flame of the candle and instantly the small piece of paper held by the clip bursts into flames and simultaneously, the candle goes out (the picture of flame disappears).

• We supply all the necessary for the effect except for the regular black pen and the regular sheet of paper (naturally these are very easily obtainable).
